Nice Gretsch kit
Conrad
That's a really nice Gretsch kit. I love the color, and the way you have them set up. Looks very, very comfortable.
Have you considered installing clear maple bass drum hoops? The maple hoops would blend perfectly with the color, and would really make the bass drum "pop" visually.

That's a really nice finish on your Gretsch! I don't think i've seen one like that before, it makes me think about the ocean and coral reefs.

I like to use the alien disk as an offset / accent with 16th note ride patterns. Usually the right hand on the ride, and the left on the disk. It adds a nice color to diddles, flam accents, ect. I also have the Sabian bell disk, kinda a zil-bell sound to go along with it. I don't always bring them out for playing with the band, but they are a lot of fun to use when jamming at home.
I just got this PDP Kit. It says "CX" on the badge, but when I found it in the PDP catalog it's a CXR Kit. PDP and SP Hardware. Sabian Xs20 and AA cymbals. It sounds great and the 24" Kick Drum is amazing!!!
There's been some confusion of late about my drums. Here they are with brief explanations
