I must be doing something wrong. I see the "Insert Image" option, but it won't let me copy and paste it into the URL box.

Sometimes you need a minimum number of posts to be able to post pics/vids etc. Not sure what that number is. Maybe a mod will see this and fix it for you.

I believe you have to choose a file and then upload it. No copy and paste unless you are pasting a link from another hosting site.

That would fit right in here in Nebraska! Only problem is the audience doesn't get to see it. I've always wondered, what effect (if any) does that color have on the cymbals? Does it show stick marks or chip easily?

according to Paiste it makes the cymbal slightly dryer/darker... compared to my thin '02's or K Custom Hybrids they sound more like A Custom Mediums, but I think that's the Paiste 900 series in general. As far as stickmarks or chipping I've seen some 20 year old colorsounds that looked great... and some that looked like death warmed over. I've never had an issue cleaning my cymbals in the tub regularly with dish soap and either a wash cloth or a white scrub pad, dried.. then given a light dose of lemon pledge. All my cymbals have all the original ink and look almost like new, even the ones that are decades old

image.jpgMy least expensive set. A MIJ 1966 Stewart. Like playing around on it. Used it on a couple jazz gigs last week with a Supraphonic. It actually sounds really good.

Wow. This thread has been quiet for a while.

Here are two of my latest acquisitions. The one on the right is a DrumSkull djembe carved out of khadi wood with a goat skin. The drum on the left is a Wula Ivory Coast style djembe carved from lenke wood with a calf skin.

I found a great deal on both of them and couldn’t pass it up.
