Lancers, nice TAMA. That bass drum looks like a beast compared to the toms.

Nice kits, scuba. I'm impressed that you were able to actually capture the sparkle in your red kit. My camera only blurs the glass effect. WTG!!

they look custom inspired a bit. i've seen some precisiondrum kits with similar 'rally stripes' and you could totally think that if you didn't automatically know what it was. very sweet kit alex

Sweet kit, Alex. I love the red and black with the black hardware and the offset looks.

BTW, they made special edition red sparkle Catalina Maples for a short time awhile back.

A few shots of the Premier 14"x10" snare i picked up free as im restoring some snares for a friend in a marching band she gave me the snare as payment even though i told her i would do it for free..It dates from about 1990 or 1992.The wrap is light and only temporary that i added today as the original wrap was white and cracked.Im going to use it at a gig on Saturday....see how it sounds live..

The nicest kit I've ever played is a 6-piece M Birch with my Paiste Alpha cymbals, at school. Sounded awesome, and it was REALLY comfortable to play. Awesome. Unlike the Sonor Force 2007 at school... *ahem*

The second nicest would be my former drum teacher's Pearl MRP.

How do you like the sound of your Classic kit? Just curious, as compared to your Collectors... I have never played on a Classic.

My Sonor Force 3007 as a 4-piece w/Mapex Black Panther snare. The floor tom and the 8" tom stayed home due to space considerations. I tried something new by inverting my tom holders to allow the toms to hang. It did seem to allow the shell to sing even more than normal. It's not completely practical though as it can get in the way of cymbal placement.
