Agree completely. Those look great, btw.

Definitely. When drums are tuned right or the set up is weird I don't play as well at all. When everything is right where you want it and they sound great it's much more inspiring to play.

This is my Ludwig Accent CS Custom Elite Fusion kit.....I'm not a drummer but I'm slowly putting this kit together....I've played guitar for almost 30 years and thought this would be a fun project..

Pretty close Bish....I stopped at a store to pick up a drum throne for my son. He is 4 and finally tall enough to reach the drum pedal on the kit I gave him. I saw this kit that they just took in on a trade. I ran home and picked up my DW Collectors kit and traded my Collectors kit + $200 for the DW Exotic. Best deal I have ever got!

Dang, Shooter! I will have a set of DW's one day. They just get it right. Those freakin things are sweet!
    Proudly playing:
    Doc Sweeney Drums
    A bunch of snares
    A bunch of cymbals

    Off-Set double pedals

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

Thanks guys. I love the finish on the DW exotic line. I just got lucky and fell into a great deal. Someone was smiling down on me that day.

    Nice!!

I was looking at your mic set up and was having a "dog head turned sideways" moment when trying to determine why your bass drum mic is hanging in mid air. Then as my eyes got a clue I saw the mic stand.

I either use my rack or have a special bass drum mic stand that is more compact. Do you have one of those? I find when I'm trimming down the load, the fewer full size mic stands I have, the better. I also have a medium shorty that I use for my snare, too. It's got a shortened upright pipe but a full length boom arm. Great for tucking in tight.

Beautiful finish on those shells, too!

The venue provided the sound, so..............

Yeah, I really like the finish on those Luddy's. Thanks. They sound good too.

Thanks. It's a 16". It looks big because I use a 13" as the other floor tom. I would love an 18" though!
