Redid the practice room. Radio Kings are bagged from gigging, so I dug out my Gretsch and set them up in it. Fun change. They really play differently then the RK's...
Added a Evens Level 360 Emad on the bass. Big difference. They really fit the vintage oversize shells. Makes tuning much easier......

That "360" design really helps on older oversize shells. Even shells that are slightly out-of-round. I wish Remo could market a similar design.

They're great kits. I keep thinking I should have one!
But, if you meant my set in the above post, it's an early '70's SSB. Emerald Green Pearl, very rare color....

    That is beautiful!

I have a set of 1972 Stop Sign Badges Gretsch. Mine are in the way more common Midnight Blue Pearl finish.

Oh, sorry.. First thing I thought when seeing your original posting. Catalina Jazz was available in that finish for a short while about 6 or 7 years ago.
    Sweet kit you have there!

It was similar, but no where near the same. Wish it was closer, i'd love to add a 14" Tom or snare! Been searching a couple years now, with no success.

Did a little changing around of the Concept maple, bagged the 10" rack tom and running 12" rack and 16" floor. Slingerland 14x10 snare, Pearl Firecracker side snare. Today I pick up a 10" K splash for that empty cymbal mount and later this week I'll have a 17" K dark crash in the mix, as soon a UPS gets it here

Nice set up topdog63! The tall hi hat rod would be an issue for my short arms but I'm sure you got no problem clearing it to hit the 14" crash right?

Yeah I can get to the crash fine Rich. It's actually a 16 though. Lol

Like the Concepts a lot. Been toying with buying a set of the birch ones. Is that a 20" bass? My Rogers set made me a real believer in 12/16 toms. Like the separation.

I have it just on a DW stand that actually doesn't close enough to hold it. I'm going to get a rim mount for it so I can hang it.

Saw the pics of your snare, it's pretty sick

Thank you! Happy with the results!

I thought it looked like DW and being a PDP kit I assumed so.
If you had a rack I'd say to do the DW Basket like me.
I have my 12x14 on an STM rim setup. It holds great.
