pdpx7 lots of maple drums for the money,i had one then 3 days later found a 2006 starclassic performer b/b 4 piece with gretsch snare ,bass pedal and hi-hat (both pearl) and 2 pearl boom stands for $1000 i had the x7 kit sounding mint but had to return it, the staclassic kit sounds phenominal

I do like the gloves and i get the full feel of the stick. before i used gloves i was very anti-gloves but now i like it.

thanks 8,my hi-hat is maybe a tiny bit furthur away than a typical righty set up, but it works out well using my left hand on it, ive seen guys play the way i do and it looks odd but sounds mint

So after almost waiting a week after registering I can finally post...

I've liked a TON of kits I've seen in this thread and I prolly looked through at least 75% of the pages in this thread while waiting to post my own...

You guys seem like a really awesome community, it's amazing.. I'm used to forums with nothing but flame wars, but then again I'm an I.T. guy and the apple/pc war never seems to end, lol, anyway you guys all seem pretty cool.

It isn't too snazzy, but it's mine and the 1st kit I've owned since my parents made me sell a 9 piece pearl export kit back when I was in HS for getting into some legal trouble...

Anyway, here goes!









It's something to get me back into the game, it was used but spent under $800 with everything you see in pics... I thought it cleaned up alright so far and I still have yet to try and polish any of it.

Pearl Forum 5 piece, toms all have Evans hydraulic heads, 2ply on top, 1 on bottom.. pearl piccolo snare/remo weather king

I got mostly lower class cymbals but hey, I'm on a budget!

I love the finish on your Pearls. Like a candyapple or deep cherry red. Nice.
Those are some deep toms too. I bet they sound huge with all evans on em.
And a sweet piccolo snare! Looks like a 14 x 3? I can hear the "crack" of that baby in my head now.
Great find. I would say the price was right for that package.
