Hey fox, I see you're a Mapex man! Is that a silver sparkle, or a white? Either way it looks nice!

You got Iron Cobra there ??
    Thanks! Iron cobra?
Sorry, but I don't know much of the brands/names/slang in the drumming community. Basically, I bought the kit and just taught myself and jammed in my room all these years.

I think mine is just a bland, basic kit compared to most on here! I really want a 8-9 piece double-bass Export Custom!

ATC, it looks odd because the toms are nearly vertical and very far apart, compared to the normal almost flat close together preference

Like I said...that was my first kit so I set it up to what felt good and looked good at the time, and just left it like that ever since.

After being a member here, and setting them back up again, I moved them a little closer, lower, and more horizontal (based on the pictures I've seen here). It feels funny now...but again...I'm comming out of a 3+ year non-playing spell. I've got to learn where everything is again, so I thought I would mount everything closer so I can become faster. I would like to get a rack so I can add another tom and have more choices as where to mount them someday.

And I've got to re-arrange my room...AGAIN! I don't have enough room to get to my desk/computer now.

I'll try and get a picture tomorrow...

    Nice kit Leeman!!

ACT, I like the setup much better now. I'm sure you will get used to it, and it will allow you to move between drums with less effort. I also agree with JL that you need a hi-hat clutch! Can't open the hats without a clutch! LOL

Hmmm...Never heard of a clutch before. I usually just leave it closed and keep my left foot on the bass pedal. And, if you look closely, you can see that the top hi-hat "clamp" is gone. Must have been lost during storage...so it's not like I can use the hi-hat anyways.

Also, my left foot pedal is smack dab in the way of where I would like my hi-hat to be. A remote hat would be nice...

Yes the hi-hat "top clamp" is what they're talking about.

You could go one step further and get a drop clutch which is really useful for double bass pedal players.
