Hi everybody. I just got here. Here's the rehearsal/practice kit.




Here's the gig kit, or as I call it, The Monster.



The practice kit now just has cymbal stands. That pic was taken before I acquired The Monster. Both are Mapex with Remo Pinstripe heads,Sabian cymbals, and Gibraltor hardware.

Ported my kick reso, got an Aquarian Superkick II and got some felt beaters. Man, my kick drum ROCKS now! It's loud and punchy and thumpy, the perfect sound IMO, and I don't even need to put anything in it!

Wow, you really choked up on those beaters. How does it play with them mounted so far up the shaft?

Hows the cannon Yohin? Cool to see ya went with the super kick. I was blown away with mine when I got iti tuned up. So much punch and long deep sustain. And like you said no muffling. F/T

Wow, you really choked up on those beaters. How does it play with them mounted so far up the shaft?

I don't exactly have the best bass drum pedal in the world. You can't adjust the beater angle, so if I were to move the beaters up so less of the shaft poked out at the bottom, they would hit my leg upon rebound every time.

Ahhh those drums are beautiful! Though I would probably have gone with chrome hardware over white, I still love em I wonder how brass hardware would look on those!

I've got my image in Photobucket, but I can't find a "view image" option - could you help?
