    That snare looks a whole lot deeper than 6 1/2".

    Isn't that similar to the kit the guy from Jeff Buckley's band used?

    The kick has more meat to it (possibly a result of the heads), the toms have more thump and low end. All around I'm happier with it. Plus having 10/12 rack toms feels far more comfortable than 12/13 squares.
