Here are some new ones taken on Saturday of my SCBs just prior to a gig in Farnborough, with my new Paiste Signature 17" Fast Crash and Stagg DH 18" China, plus my Shure Beta 52a on its first outing (very impressed with the results!).

You guys really like woodgrain on your instruments. The bass fits right in with your kit. I like woodgrain too, so I noticed it right away.

Now that's a real minimalist approach. Great snare to center on.

I play this kit in a jazzy crusty thrashy ska punk band. Its a 13x3 inch Ludwig Piccolo Snare, 1960's SLingerland 14x20" bass drum, no name Japanese Rack tom on a snare stand, grrove percussion 16x16" floor tom and 16" crash, Paiste 18" Brass tones Crash/Ride, and ZHT hats. Its a fun little kit to play.

Hah - we were only commenting on that very fact on Saturday, PB! My brother-in-law actually plays the bass (a Fender Jazz).
The Stage Customs arguably doesn't have some of the knock-'em-dead finishes of some other ranges, but I must admit I'm rather partial to natural blonde, as I know you are.

Nice, very nice. I wouldn't be at all disappointed. In my opinion the 100% birch is much better than the b/b (I play '99 Starclassic Performer 100% Japanese Birch). Can't beat a Tama Birch. Also, the 100% Japanese Birch are more sought after (for Tama guys), like the Granstar and the Starclassics you and I have. Again, nice set. You mention you had a 5 piece then saw a 5 piece, did you combine them to get this set-up?

Thanks PB. It was a Women's Conference organised by people from my church but for anyone (obviously female) who wanted to attend. There were 500 hundred attendees I beleive.

Thanks! I use a Lumix DMC ZS-10 14.1 Megapixel. Great point and shoot camera for sure. Glad you like the shot! Low ceiling in that room so I didn't get to see what shots I was taking, just some guesswork on my part, haha.
