It will be hard..... yikes! But once you get into the music, you'll do it and do it well. Take lots of water and Propel.

So right now I'm glad to be an Ohioan where 90F is as bad as it gets. I'll think again next February when it's 7F for a month, however.
I've often brought a cooler full of ice and just aimed a fan across the top of it at me when it's been too hot out. It lasts just long enough and the beer gets nice and chilly in the slushy water.
I miss the dry heat. Summer is my favorite and the 100+ days in California didn't bother me.
Over here it sucks! The humidity makes it so uncomfortable. If you plan on doing any kinda work outside around the house you better do it before 10am.
This also takes a toll on me at practice. I have fan but with three guys in a small practice room it doesn't take long for me to be drenched like last night. We run a dehumidifier when we finish because things will start to rust! I have two cymbal stands that have rust spots on the legs because of this air.
There is a bright side though. One word ''Louisiana'' Love it down there but that place is flat out crazy hot, humid and wet, dig a foot down and you'll strike water.

^ You'd do well gigging in Sydney in summer then.
I call it the "Four Shirt Season"....you'd go through the first when driving to a gig or rehearsal, change into the next one before you step into the place, go through the second one just setting up, go through the third one playing, then need the fourth one for when you drive back home.
Which is why I'd be looking for a washing powder endorsement, never mind a cymbal one, lol :P

I here ya there, slink. Only prob with the heat wave we have right now out here is it is humid. It's really strange. It also rained for a couple days before this all started which is very unusual as you know for Sac. If the humidity would subside a bit, it would be almost tolerable.
Playing again on the 4th at the J.W. Marriott outside. Cool front this week! It's only in the mid 90's. High of 92 on the 4th.

The line between the real world and the machine world is becoming more and more blurred every day.But its not that humans are turning into automations or becoming slaves to the machines. No, we're simply growing toward each other!
Hope your gig goes well. We Arizonans are a tough lot. I don't really worry til it gets over 100. Desert dwellers skin is so thick not even diamonds can pierce it. 70-80 is like cold!
