What browser are you using?
It should work with Firefox but most likely not Safari.
Hi!
I've begun visiting this fine forum more often than not from my iPad. Unfortunately, it seems that embedded YouTube videos don't display; I simply see a large white space where the video would normally be.
Is there any way round this?
Thanks, in advance!
Chris

Unfortunately, Firefox doesn't appear to be available for iPad but Chrome works a treat!
Thanks for the help, chaps!

Well, this is strange. I had installed Chrome fine and viewing a video working fine initially from both iPad and iPhone. However, it then doesn't work after a while. I re-installed the app on each device and, again, it just fails after a short while.
So, unfortunately, I'm back to square 1 on this issue.
Any other suggestions?

I had this problem with a car forum that I run.
It's to do with the fact that youtube have recently changed the html code for embedding videos slightly. So the admins of this forum need to update the BB Code for youtube videos. Simple fix but will allow people to view videos in Safari again on their iPads, etc.
Any news in this? It's getting a little frustrating not being able to view the vids on here using a tablet.

Will also have to do this.
Maybe the vids are not available anymore. Not sure, this a question that only a moderator can answer. PM one of them
There is a "bug" in vBulletin 3 software that won't allow the playback in combination with Safari. There is a fix from Youtube that needs to be coded into older versions of vBulletin to make it work.
I run a vBulletin 4 forum and we still have the same problem with embedded Youtube videos and iOS.
