i have the biggest drum set for sale on craigs list . it is huge . and has all hard cases for the drums ,and roller bags for the cage . all kinds of chimes ,cow bells ,tambourines, brass.sweet throne . stick holder , mics. bells and whistles galore . you can go to medicine xxxxxx.com and see this set in its infancy .it is the green one with clocks all over it . all custom with attack heads and covers and im sure there is more that i havnt mentioned .i have a smaller 8 piece that i use for shows because it really is all i need . but this huge set has been set up in my studio since i brought it home . i have never taken it down or out of my house .must see to appreciate it. this is a 13 pc. but has 32 noise making pieces all together. and packed up everything has a case .plus two other snares. jaw dropping gorgeous and huge . everyone that sees it says holy xxxx that is the biggest drum set i have ever seen in person. i am selling because my woman crashed her jeep and we need another car . xxx xxx xxxx.

What's interesting about these (or not so interesting) are the quick change, snap clip type lugs. Set on the head, set on the rim, clip over rim and snap down. Looks like some are missing too. I wonder if twisting them before clamping down would be a tightening adjustment?
I remember when these PTS drums were first introduced. They were built by Remo, and the PTS inscription refers to their PreTunedSystem scheme. (I'm pulling this from my aging memory, so I hope all the facts are on target!) The sets were intended for beginning drummers and was supposed to simplify tuning.
Some of the "higher end" Remo drums sounded quite good. The shells were made of a masonite formulation of some kind, and were very dense and hard. They also offered complete lines of hardware ranging from pathetic to top notch for the times. At one time Remo had a number of famous drummers endorsing the sets.
