So just used some water and light hand soap but I cleaned down my cymbals... because I have two new ones it really made me realize how dirty the old ones were...

Look at this poor towel.. just soap and water. One cymbal already had the green corrosion starter probably from the beer splatter lol But it cleaned up great.

I also re-angled my high toms. A lot flatter I love it.

Looks good. Seeing the new ride next to a 12" Tom really shows just how big the bell is.
    Mmm... Saturns.

Got me a great upgrade today!!

So my DW5002 pedal has just been feeling heavy and sluggish. Today I went ahead and upgraded to the DW9002 with matching DW9500 hi-hat stand. I cannot wait to get them setup and start playing

Hmmmmmm. I might have to pester them for some 13" STMs for a little project of mine. Otherwise I'll have to have the parts one-offed locally.

So just for a trial I added another bar from my gibraltar rack to my hi-hat to keep it in a set location. It seems to work. I'll be swapping to DW parts shortly

    Not crazy noticeable to me.

And my parts came in today! So I'll be redoing my rack and toms...

Whats in the box you ask?!

    Well:
    1) new DW Snare Rack Basket
    2) Adjustable Angle stacker.
    - My goal is to setup the rack so it's one clean level.. all the bars will be even!
    3) DW L-Arm tom holders (x3)
    - I bought Gibraltar adjustable ball mounts and do not like them on my high toms
    4) Memory Locks
    - I will use these for the snare basket and added hi-hat bar.

Ok got my new bar setup and did some moving around.. still not finished but getting there..

    snare basket

added the new adjustable multi clamp so my bars are one level! love it

Also change out my tom arms to the DW/PDP L-arms. So much cleaner and simpler!

Well it took a lot of searching but I finally got my hands on a throne I've wanted for awhile now...

I found a vinyl sparkle orange Pork Pie throne!

I think it matches pretty darn good! Not perfect but wow is it close!

Matches better than the snare drum I wrapped! Anyways the throne is super comfortable even for being vinyl. The fabric ones are better in my opinion but this is still super comfy for long nights of playing.

Very nice! That ride looks like a beast on the kit! How's the stick definition?

It is a beast. It's very dark and dry but that bell is so dominating.
Me personally I like a super dry ride and this is right up my alley but that bell can definitely be over powerful so you have to be gentle

Looks like the festival pics were taken before you got the new clamp to move the floor tom bar? You made a wise decision by making the entire rack one level. Looks super clean....Congrats!
