Default Painting my own bass drum head

    Hey all,

I want to paint my bass drum head, but I don't know what kind of paint to use. I know I need something that remains maliable when it dries so that when I tighten or loosen the head the paint doesn't crack or bulge. If it helps, I will be painting white and three shades of grey on a black head. Thanks alot for you help!

I know this is my first post, but I've visited here before and everyone seems pretty nice around here, so it's nice to finally be registered myself

    Thanks,
    J-face

Why are u painting it? Why dont u just get like contact and put that on? If u put contact or paint on the drums u won't be able to sell them very well, coz nobody will know if they looked heaps Sh*t and thats why u had to paint over or if it was damaged heaps.

Sumtimes i just send a post so i can see my Sonny Bill picture hee hee

I'm just painting the bassdrum head, it won't affect the resale value at all. Besides, I'm not planning on selling the set anytime soon.
