    Smile Pro drum set up grade

    I currently have a tama swing star. im looking to spend about $1200.oo for a new drum set. i want a pro set. do you have any suggestions?

    Have you considered the Gretsch Renown series? http://www.gretschdrums.com/?fa=seri...id=305&mid=773 They're a couple of hundred more than you were thinking, but might be worth a listen.

    Being a Gretsch drummer, I would definately agree with PB. The Renown's are supposed to be excellent quality. However, there are alot of great choices with Tama if your partial with their products. I'd suggest one of these suckas http://www.musiciansfriend.com/produ...Kit?sku=446817
