    Those are SKB hard cases, and that's what I have, too. I bought mine many years ago when SKB had just introduced this design, and I will never regret that ($ignificant) purchase. They've been worth the money over and over again. By the way, they interlock with one another when stacked, so no need to worry about somebody pushing them over.

    I'm assuming owners of cases also own large, truck-like vehicles? At least soft cases allow the squeezing of 5 drums into small vehicles' spaces, door openings and shallow trunks such as those of my Mazda3.

    Yep, sorta like I do it: kick in the front seat, hardware in the trunk, but I squeeze toms in the trunk with the hand truck. Rug, FT, cymbals, snare & misc. case in the back seat.

    It's amazing how much you can fit into a sedan...soft cases can be squeezed into tight spaces...but I much rather have these:

    Too bad there are no fitted, heavy plastic clip-on, fitted lids for both drum heads, Kay-gee.

    There are only certain manufacturer's that make a case for a 26x14 kick drum and, even for a 18x16 floor tom......
