That is pretty sweet!! A lot of legos. I didn't hear or see did he mention how many in total he used?
Now I'm not nit picking but if you're going to mount the high tom on a stand why not making a clean virgin style bassdrum?

The drum kit is made from 8,016 LEGO bricks.
That was very cool! Thanks for posting that video.
Those are pretty cool! I wasn't sure at first how he attached the throw off and butt plate without drilling holes in the "shell". He finally explained that.
So, all the shells are free floating? Cool!
Man, that's insane! I'd like to see them demo'd, with him actually playing them.
I am actually impressed that he could make it sound like a snare. Can't wait to see the article in the Modern Drummer 's " Kit of the month " issue. He sure will get a lot of exposure through them. Nice job on the lego kit.
Proudly playing:
Doc Sweeney Drums
A bunch of snares
A bunch of cymbals
Off-Set double pedals
I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

This is the other video I attempted to post in the first message. He plays the whole kit.
