    Very nice looking kit!

Have a few questions about your cymbal set up. I'm currently playing on a 4 piece kit, i really like the ride where you've got it. I see you have it on one of those bracket things. Obviously, it's strudy enough to hold the ride, is your ride heavy or more on the light side? I'd be afraid that my ride is too heavy to have it that way, but maybe not?

Also, do you normally have that crash above your ride that way? Is it 14 or 16"? Using basically the same hardware, i have my 16" crash where your china is, but your set up looks better. I'm rather tall, are you? Do you ever find having the crash that high to be a disadvantage?

Either way, thanks for posting, I might try out a new configuration at tomorrow's gig!

Anatolian Kappadokia 14" Rock High Hats
    Sabian El Sabor 20" Ride

    1950's Zildjian 14" Splash/light crash
    Istanbul 8" Splash (pre 1997)

Outstanding kit pics. I really like your reso head/logo. THe off-set look is very cool. Draws the eye in, for sure.

The ride is a 22" Paiste 2oo2 so it's heavy. No problems. Just need to always be sure that the base of stand is set so that one of the legs is parallel with the cymbal arm, otherwise it tends to want to tip over.

The front edge of the crash sits at about the mid point of the ride. Perfect for me. I can reach it with no problem and it doesn't get in the way when I'm on the ride.

My crashes are actually quite low. Must be an optical illusion thing going on in the pics that makes them look higher than they actually are.

It looks good with the wrap on the shells.
BTW...........one of your cymbals has big holes in it..........you need a new one.

Thanks! This particular project is just covers. Nothing groundbreaking.

Inthpktplayer - sweet setup! That is a real sharp looking set of Ludwigs by the way. One of my favourite things is recording - so cool to hear the playbacks when you get the drum sound the way you want. Hope the sessions go / went well.

Thanks ludleg. First session went well. Went back in last night to lay some background vocals and do some editing. More background vocals and lead vocals scheduled for this Friday. With today's equipment, software and good sound engineer, almost anyone can sound good .
