I got to meet Gene Hoglan and had the honor of opening for Fear Factory years ago. That man is truly a human metronome.
I transcribed this cool groove by Gene Hoglan a while ago as I thought some drummers might find it useful. In my opinion, the whole song is a masterpiece and the drum track is full of great ideas as well. Here's a link to the original recording for those who are not familiar with it (the groove appears at 0:40-1:03 and 3:58-4:21):

Here's a video demonstration of the groove with a couple of variations (also played slow):

The transcription appears in the beginning of the video so it should be easy to take a screen capture, but I can also send the image file separatley to anyone who's interested (unfortunately I cannot post attachments).
Cheers,
J
