    Default Plastic Sewer Pipe project!

    HI,
Just spend 2 days to turn this left-over junk Plastic Sewer Pipe into a Free-style percussion drum-kit.Very light to carry around for Band Jamming & gigs. 6" as snare,10" as bass drum.

If i can find another pipe, will try to make a ****tail-drum!
    Thanks.

They really look cute (and that's not a word I use too often). They look like they just want to bounce around your house .. and follow behind you, on your way to a gig ! Boing. Boing. A new animated Disney movie: Pete's Drums.

Very creative and professional! I used to be amazed at all your creations, but they ALL turn out so cool and well made that I expect nothing less than top-shelf! I always love that you take materials that are scrap and turn them into true works of art.....that are functional as well.

On a side note, I could use a sewer drum kit....it would be very appropriate for my playing, LOL!

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

Wow Pete that sounds pretty good. If I was walking down the street and I heard that sound coming from someone's house I would think they had a wood drum kit in there.

I love that 'happy family' picture up above. Pete is not only a brilliant inventor, but his design aesthetic seems to be evolving as well. A lot of DIY percussion projects (such as mine), can look kind of junky (which, of course, can be a cool aesthetic in and of itself); but Pete's stuff, on the other hand, has a certain elegance to it, for lack of a better word... beyond the percussive functionality. Amazing.

I need to save money so I can fly to Malaysia and hang out in his studio for a day !
