We're An American Bland (intentional misspelling).
I know SOME of us are against cowbells, have no use for them, wish they would just go away but.....if you have a fav cowbell song, stand up and be counted! Post a great cowbell-driven song and no Swiss pasture sounds paleeze. I'll start:

Wait...you mean every song isn't supposed to be driven by the cowbell???

Premier XPK Drums

22 bass drum
5 x 14 snare

Sabian, Meniel cymbals
Tama Metalworks 6.5 x 14" Black Nickel snare

Sticking with the Procol Harum theme:
Two more great songs driven by the incomparable B.J. Wilson's cow bell: Bringing Home the Bacon and The Unquiet Zone.
I've always liked the subtle cowbell in Gold Dust Woman ...
Oye Como Va....Santana
Low Rider.....War
all the best...
This is my favorite. We play a cover of this, but I don't own a cowbell. I just use the side of the stick on the bell of the top hat. It sounds close enough.....and I'm not buying a cowbell for just the one song. It's funny how everyone recognizes that song just by the cowbell intro, LOL. By the time the slide guitar comes in, the dance floor is packed.

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"
Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!
"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham
First song, first Led Zeppelin album..

Animals: "Gimme Some Lovin'" American version
Nazareth - Hair of the Dog
Night Train, Welcome to the Jungle, Dont Fear the Reaper, Livewire (Motley Crue), too many more to name. The cowbell has its place, maybe limited, maybe specific, but definitely the right tool for those situations.

I like the way Steven Adler uses cowbell in "Welcome To The Jungle".
Don't fear the reaper BOC
Technique doesn't mean **** if you can't blast beat and spin sticks - Steve Gadd
Free - all right now.
Van Halen for my vote
studio version sounds better plus you don't have to watch David around 2:40
