I bought a set just like that in '71-'72 at Sam Ash in NY.
Same sizes, but when I was playing gigs I just used the 14x10.
I still have the set and use it all the time in my videos.
In 1971, I finally got my set of real Ludwigs. I saw the set in a catalog at the music store (whether a regular Ludwig catalog or dealer's catalog I don't recall). I'm trying to get some info on this set, as for the time it was unique. Kit included: 14x24 bass, supraphonic snare. 9x13 and 10x14 mounted toms, 16x16 and 16x18 floor toms. Does anyone have any info on this particular kit? I no longer have this kit, as I gave it to my stepson, who traded it for a no-name kit because it had double bass. I was heartbroken.

It might have been called The Ludwig Pro Beat, it had the same configuration of drums but the timeline is saying around 1973
I wish I knew your stepson.
