If you have Midi coming into Logic Pro X then it should record.
You need to populate a Software Instrument Track (not Audio)
with a Drum Kit from either the EXS24, UltraBeat or one of the
Kits associated with LPX's Drum Kit Designer.
Hi all, I'm new to the forum and joined because I'm hoping someone can make a suggestion re. a problem I'm having.
I got the Roland TD4KX2 V-Compact drums years ago, and recently got the Roland UM-One MK2 midi-interface to connect it to my Macbook Pro and Logic Pro X.
I apparently successfully installed the midi and drivers and such, but when I create a new track to record the drums, I see that Logic is receiving input from the drums (track in workspace shows input after striking drums) but is not actually recording sound.
Sorry for the longwinded explanation. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
