I've replaced strainers on both a BB and a LM402 with the Inde strainers and I will never go back to any kind of Ludwig strainer. The Inde strainer runs about $40-$45 dollars and that includes a new butt. Unfortunately the butt is not compatible with the current layout on the Ludwigs so I saved them for a couple of builds that I have planned. Check the Inde strainers out. They're a great replacement for many of the strainers out there and the price and quality are great!
Josh- he designed the Atlas series. I'm going to grab a couple of these soon.
A simple, elegant design is good engineering.
