My feet are retarded. My right foot is horribly slow to the point that I wonder if I don't have some muscle/tendon issue preventing it from improving. Practice and exercise doesn't seem to help.

I would like to be (much) better with the double pedals. When I started many years ago, it was either a second kick or one pedal, so that's how I learned. Took a 20+ year break, now that I'm back into it, it's very difficult for this old dog to learn, or "unlearn" that kick drum stuff to incorporate the double pedals. (Beyond rolls at the end of a song, which I can somewhat manage.)
Age, and lack of dedicated practice time (with the same pedals, I practice on an electronic kit, again with one pedal) are additional challenges.
Fortunately, the stuff we play doesn't really need the second kick pedal, but it would be nice to add some of the cool stuff I hear my buddies doing.
Buy Brubek's "Time Out" and "Time Further Out".
Those 2 records/CD's whatever will get you started on 4 way independence.
To have a soundproof room to play drums all hours of the nite!

Faster single stroke roll
Faster double and triples on BD
Be able to play a decent half time shuffle
Make a $10 dollar bill appear in my bass drum every time I hit it.
