Super quiet. From upstairs you can here a small ping from the hit but as far as cymbals unbelievably quiet. 80% quieter haha hence L80

I got a chance to play those cymbals at l&m a month ago. Not what I expected, in a good way. It's like it still had the attack without the volume. Very cool!

So picked up a used 13" Hi-Hat in the same series

I think they work GREAT for my Pork Pie kit.
Was able to tuck my hi-hat right up to my tom a bit closer now.
    Sound is tight and crisp!

Nice. I didn't care at all for the 14" version of those. I sold them as quick as I bought them. I do like 13" hats a lot though.

yeah now that I have both sets the 13" have a killer crisp sound.

But I do have both the 14" Rock and 14" Med Thin and those make a huge difference too. The Rock hats are awful. I like the Med Thin though. But the 13's work best now on this kit. I'll keep 14's on my PDP.

so my puppy can now go up and down stairs and she said she wanted to help daddy clean up and change out drum stuff... she also said the Pork Pie is her favorite kit

I put my DW pillow in the Pork Pie now and took the kickport out of the PDP and swapped it over to the Pork Pie also

Ok my OCD kicked in hardcore and I had to rearrange the 12" floor tom.
It drove me nuts that the Pork Pie badge was not facing forward like the 10" tom.
So I added a new longer curved rack bar and moved the rack forward.

I'm much happier now... minor details but big difference to me!

And my baby girl is finally getting ready to take after dad!

Very nice kit! How does your li'l girl like the Cooper Groove sticks? I was thinking of getting a pair. Man I've been away too long. She's a cutie!

They're ok... I'm glad he got rid of the nylon tip version.
Honestly though not worth the extra price tag.
I got them on a special at a trade show.
