Default New purchase-last one for a long time

I had been watching many auctions on ebay over the past several months and finally decided to bid on a kit.

This is what I ended up winning and am using it for my current practice kit.

DDRUM Dominion 4 Piece Drum Set, Tequila Sparkle / Maple that features and includes:

    Specs:
    Bass Drum: 20x20"
    Floor Tom: 16x12"
    Floor Tom: 14x12"
    Rack Tom: 12x8"

Very nice. I've said it a thousand times but I love 1 up 2 down. Nice sizes too! What cymbal stands are you using?

Thanks, FBN. I'm using my TAMA Star series hardware. I am keeping this hardware arrangement and just swapping shell packs as I decide to rotate through the collection.

I know it sounds far fetched but there is a reason why I stated that.

It is buried in another one of the posts I put up last night.

Very nice Bish, I been looking hard at those as well the last few weeks. How do you like it for being around a $500 kit? Looks like it would be a nice gigging kit?

I don't believe I have ever heard a 16 x 12 floor tom in person, what are you thoughts on that? How are the lugs and hardware?
    Ludwig Classic Maple 22x16,10x8,12x9,16x16

So, I take it that this is a hint to your new hobby? If that's the case, I just purchased something new as well last weekend. Gotta wait 10 days before I can pick it up. After I pick it up, I'm off to a special place where only you can use it.

(I'm trying to be a little vague)

Currently my Ludwig Black Beauty is teamed up in this picture. When I start gigging again, I haven't decided what will go but this kit is slated for gigging.

Since there was some very unnoticable damage to the finish, namely a small crack in the finish on the back side of the mounted tom, I figured it would work great as a beater/gigging kit. Any new damage would be no big deal to me. The damage was noted in the ad before I bought so it wasn't a surprise and was partially why I decided to get it. I don't really want to take my TAMAs out since they are more higher end drums. For $300.00 I could hardly say no.

With the tuning, you don't even notice the short size. But hauling it will be a dream.

Thank you, Rich. It is a stunner in person. The pictures sort of tame it down a little.

Everything is working perfectly and it is very close to Yamaha quality for the tom mount. I'm using my TAMA because it was already attached to the cymbal stand.

All the lug screws work flawlessly and are smooth as silk. I've had this now for a month or two and even with the factory heads, I haven't had to retune it. Plus, the bass drum is the bomb. Lovin' me some 20" X 20" thunder.

So, my post was "aimed in the right direction", I assume?

We'll have to chat on FB one of these days. I know this is a very taboo subject here and I don't want to start any trouble.

I suppose you have to be careful with these as well. If your aim is off with one of these, things could get pretty messy.

You hit the bulls eye multiple times. I have been warned by the boss about my "other" thread/topic. My bad and it won't happen again. I'm sure it got pulled - I didn't even look for it.

Send me a message on any of the other medias and we'll talk. Got some stuff to tell you.

Well, if it's pics of the squatty potty, I'm good. Really don't want to, nor need to see those.
