So I have a lot of snares on my rack's that I rotate or some that just sit haha
But because of this you can imagine 30 snare drums with the snares on or off make a LOT of noise.
So my solution was simple and cheap!
$5 pack a felt. Comes in a big square
Cut it into long strips
Then cut those strips to size depending on the snare
Put the snare back in the rack!
Very cool solution to the racks of snares buzz-off!
I was wondering if you kept the snares tight or loose on the snares you have stored or not currently using.
All mine are off and since they are in bags and in a different room than where I rehearse, it's not even an issue for me.

Yes I keep all of my snares in the off position unless being used.
I learned that habit turning off all my snares a long time ago.
I was taught to do that so it doesn't stretch the snare wires or the cable holding them on.
Some believe in that and some don't.
Either way it's the habit and tradition I've learned as a drummer.
