    Default MEINL cymbals

Merry Christmas, guys Hope you all had great times with your loved ones!

So, a couple days ago I have received the endorsement renewal package from Meinl. Thank God its been an awesome 4 years with exceptional cymbals and brand! Fortunately I got some free time today to unbox them and take some proper pics. Enjoy!

I like the way they sound. I like some of their chinas. All in all I'm happy with what I have just g.a.s.

I was just wondering. Haven't had much exposure to Meinl cymbals myself.

Well since it seems most mapex players are on mienl. Some of my favorite drummers play mapex mienl. Thing is they are playing 3-400 dollar cymbals. Not really worth the switch just to try it. Their high end lines sound awesome. And for my taste the mid level is hit and miss.

I just bought the 16" Dual Crash, the 10" Extra Dry and the 15" Dual Hats today.. but now I feel inadequate.

you probably know best... what meinls make a good stack? Right now I have the 16 dual and the 10 splash as a stack, but I think its probably too small... I ordered a 18" Trash crash, i'm thinking of putting the 16" crash ontop of that.. not sure.

    thoughts?

Beautiful set of cymbals, I'm quite jealous.

Did you pick these cymbals or is this just what they sent you?

i choose them but didnt hand picked directly. Meinl factory is in Germany, and I live in Indonesia, so they ship the pies and it took a month or so to finally landed here and gladly in perfect condition :D

The 10" extra dry splash is a beautiful cymbal. Love the sound. Nice focused attack with a quick decay.
