I don't hear the Bonham sound similarity but you rocked it TimmyG.
This is the closest I can get my snare sounding like John Bonhams. Its a recording of Lonely Boy by the Black Keys. what do you guys think?

I can hear the snare pretty close to Bonham's. Good job on song, I really love playing this one as well

Pretty close. You have the pitch perfect. There's just something about his sound that's different. Listen to his snare at around 0:11. The best snare sound ever.

first thing to do is become bonham, get super drunk right ?.....lol probably not a great idea
Bonham was a master at tuning his drums and his snare was a great example.
Great job on the cover. Asking people to affirm whether one sound is like another given the multitude of variables at play here is a bit of a waste of time and a bit pointless, no?
