Saw this elsewhere and thought it would be cool to see what everyone here has to say.

What are your favorite covers to play? Mine?

    Little Wing - Jimi Hendrix
Key to the Highway - Big Bill Broonzy
Cold Shot - Stevie Ray Vaughan
    Laundromat Blues - Albert King
You Don't Have To Go - Muddy Waters

Lots of them, but cut my teeth on 'She's Not There', Zombies, it's easy to cook it if needed- love the song too. 'Hashpipe' by Weezer, and 'Lies" by the Knickerbockers, so I am all over the board.

Hey I like the new look, hope this posts properly. 10

I doubt most of y'all have heard of these, but here are a few of my favorites that show up in every one of our set lists...

    Oklahoma Breakdown - Stoney Larue
Wear My Ring - Bart Crow
House And 90 Acres - Chris Knight
    Seminole Wind - John Anderson

We also do Hash Pipe...............sad story..............fun song.

Right now I like a few we are playing:
    Ready To Go -- Republica
Come Out and Play -- The Offspring
I Hate Myself for Loving You -- Joan Jett
These three are good examples of great selections for our female lead vocal, but we like to "heavy them up", if you get my drift.

We also like to pair odd tunes together................for example:
We go from Midnight Rendezvous (The Babys) right into The Trees (Rush).
    Gretsch USA & Zildjian
(What Else Would I Ever Need ?)

After somewhere around 50 years of doing this stuff, I don't have enough time left in my life to make a list.

All Along The Watchtower- Bob Dylan but Hendrix style

Black Cat Bone- Albert Collins style with our own twist...great Blues-Funk

Up Against The Wall Redneck Mother - Ray Wylie Hubbard
    -Brian

"Too many crappy used drum stuff to list"

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

We just learned Sausalito Summer Nights by the Dutch band Diesel. Always wanted to do that tune.
Our band is regrouping, moving away from country into 80's rock. Doing Six Months in a Leaky Boat, My Sharona, Good Girls Dont, stuff like that.

Indeed. We still have those songs if needed, I hope to get this band in the same spot as my previous band, 2-300 songs to draw from so no room will stump us.
