Yeah, make it look like drums or Jennifer Lawrence. This background makes me feel like I'm looking at a golf course.

I've given it several days now, and it's not growing on me. I don't contribute much, but this is much harder to read. Just my two cents.

I miss the thread trees at the top of the page, which were useful for quick navigation
Life's too short to play the same solo twice. Improvise!

The thread tree is there, but depending on the background it sometimes is hard to see. It's right above the "Reply to thread" button near the top of the page.

Change is indeed inevitable, and can happen quickly. I went from married to un-married in 2 minutes. It's amazing what opening a door and just walking out can do for a guy. It cost me, but the price of freedom isn't cheap.

The people on the forum for a while might remember that I was married to Sybil (Wonder Woman, as in, I wonder which woman I was going to get when I came home). George Michaels song "Freedom" was my anthem for a couple of years.

I'm getting used to the new format and working with it instead of b******* about it.

Once the shout box comes back then the new website will be back to normal other than the changes and colors it will make us feel at home again.

My thoughts exactly. I can't stand the new look. I do understand the need for forum upgrades, but the background is distracting and the entire forum is difficult to read and navigate. I visit less often.

Funny thing is this looks like a lot of other forums now. Different colors and background picture but buttons and function are very similar. I don't even notice the background. LOL. I have 60 year old eyes, too. Could contribute to the numb.

Personally, I like the new set up. I'm more active on this site because it is easier to post pics. Re: the background picture, Maybe it could be changed from time to time. I used to be on another site that did that
