Re: Drilling a brand new DW bass drum - am I crazy?
As a younger (hence, not as smart) man, I drilled into my Ludwig (now vintage) bass drum to accommodate an extra cymbal holder. It was not a virgin bass, as it already had a cymbal arm and rail consollette, but I have regretted the decision anyway. Don't do it!
