R.I.P J. Geils. I saw these guys open many times in the '80's for some pretty big acts. Some of you older drummers may of remembered The J. Geils Band? "Centerfold" was a video played over and over on MTV back in the 80's. The one shot I remember that is drum related that stood out in the video was the milk filled snare drum.

Yes I remember them well. Freeze Frame was one of their number one hits. RIP Mr Geils.

What a shame. I used to like the J. Geils band back in the day. Must Of Got Lost, Freeze Frame, Love Stinks, Centerfold.... all great tunes.

Apparently from what I read, they just found him in his home when someone went to do a well check. Sad.
    Stolen from EddieV:
Boom, ching, boom boom ching, fuggadugga fuggadugga fuggadugga crash. Rinse, Repeat ad-nauseum.
