a band I was in played at The Stone in San Francisco opened for Asphalt Ballet with another band. Not particularly the best ever but pretty memorable. Big place big stage it's a strip club now a shame it's gone.

Did a fill in for Mississippi Rythm Oil at Del Mar Station in Reno that was fun. Packed house and a free hotel room after the show. That place is long gone too.

The avocational orchestra I play with did a gig at Cleveland's Severance Hall, home of the Cleveland Orchestra, and the highlight was a piece called Alzheimer's Stories, by Robert Cohen. There were 5 percussionists and this was my set up.

It was a great cause and a very moving performance in one of the finest concert halls in the world.
Life's too short to play the same solo twice. Improvise!
