When I sat down and figured everything out, the money was more than I wanted to lay out, ssssssoooooo, I was walking around the lot and came across this, a 2017 Mustang GT, Black on Black, 435HP, 400ftlbs torque and $30K cheaper than the Shelby. (I didn't like the yellow anyway).

Wow. Congrats! You were pretty quite the last few days. Figured you were up to something! I personally liked the yellow....but the black is awesome. And, you're back in a V8. Sweeeet.

Thanks Brian!! Part of the problem with the Shelby is that, the way I look at it, if you are going to pay in the area of $70K for 1, I want all the bells and whistles on the outside of the car also. Probably sounds stupid but I want it to say Shelby front and back, and I want those Cobra's on the side of the car. Nowhere does it say Shelby, and the little plaques on the front and back do have a Cobra and they say GT350, but that's it, and they are about 4"x2", so you have to be damn close to the car just to be able to read them.
If you are going to buy a car that is supposed to be special, then it should look special.
Gorgeous bud, someday I will own a Mustang.....

Congrats Rick. So what did you do with the other two mustangs. I hope this one satisfies your taste for Mustangs. Now the customizing starts lol.

Gorgeous car, Rick! Have fun with it. If Jessica wasn't so devoted to me, I'd let you take her for a spin in it.
Just remember, the bigger the toy, the fewer you can own due to size restrictions.
I sorta know about this.

The white eco-boost I traded in. Still have the '96. The side scoops and louvers are on the way.
I agree with you totally on the black.
That's OK, Randy. I'm taking Jennifer for a ride this afternoon.
I know what you mean, Rick. The Shelby seems to have taken on a more subtle & cleaner persona. More European sport coupe and less American muscle car. I've heard rumors about a new '18 Mach 1 model....could be interesting. I think you made a good choice. That Coyote 5.0 has proven to be a solid engine. I think being naturally aspirated will be more dependable in the long run.....and, there's still a lot of power they left on the table.
2 mustangs to customize in 2 years; American Muscle will give you VIP status!

The Ford dealer must love you Rick.
