Default Learning to play caravan from the movie whiplash.

Since I am at home today sick. Thought I would try to learn to play caravan from the movie whiplash. If I don't make it to the VA arts and talent show nationals this year. Maybe play caravan next year for the talent show which I will have to get a copy of the sound track to the movie. I have heard it on youtube and really like it. Also I might try some music stores and see it they have a copy of the drum part. Hope everyone is doing well.

    Keep drumming

Gregg. Having played Caravan probably a couple of hundred times in my life, mostly in a jazz setting and as a solo with our R&R band, plus having seen everyone from Buddy Rich to Max Roach play it, I can tell you that there is no "right" solo to play with it.

This young ladies version is the best I've seen, and way better than the solo played in the movie, and she has been playing a little over 5 years.
