    Default Aquarian Cymbal Spring Modification

    So brought a Cymbal Spring so i can mount my China where i want it
    to put it simply the way it mounts is just Fail , it will kill threads and will never be really attached in a solid way
    SO to the Lathe
    Using a little Aluminium i made a insert with M8 threads to match my Ludwig hardware , i than drilled the cymbal spring out so the whole was round and Epoxied the insert in , once fully dry i will screw in the original mounting screw to really hold the insert in

    That was my biggest complaint years ago when I first bought one. It was so unsteady using one screw and it dinged up my threads.
