Default Controlling lights/backing tracks with midi drum pad

    Any one else do it?

Looking for recommendations on a really good/reliable sample pad to use.
    Requirements:
    - MIDI I/O over USB (MacBook Pro compatible)
    - small (not looking for an Octopad)
    - 2 pad minimum
    - sub $300
    - no crosstalk issues (I don't want a vibration from my floor tom to trigger the pad that is programmed to jump to the next track in my playlist)

So far, it looks like the Alesis Sample Pad 4 is my best option. Anybody use one of these for externally controlling something via MIDI I/O? Any issues with it?
