Is there anyone who owns a Yamaha DD-65? Is there a book that explains the drum mapping and triggering and how MIDI is used with electronic drums?

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, I was playing a Yammy ekit that had midi capability.
We used it to hook into a Yammy DX-7 keyboard and during my drum solo, I would trigger the keyboard and play simple melodies from the drum kit.
Stupid -- but some people loved it..................
