nice!!
I remember many years ago I said lets do it... and ordered up an entire new set of everything.
Best feeling ever
till you get the bill hahaha
awesome!!!!
that is hot
I got the cymbals a while back. And man, I love 'em. Well, most of them anyway.
The 19" crashes, the hihat, the ride, the 18" china and the two mini-chinas all sounds great, but the 18" crashes...well, they don't sound bad but they don't blend so well with the others. So I'll return them and order two more 19" crashes of the same kind as the other ones.
If I'll try to make some sort of review on them, I'd say that they are LOUD! Bright, shimmering, clear penetrating bells on both the crashes and the ride. The ride has a moderate amount of wash but when whacked good the sound turns into a roar.
China and crashes are in your face just as I like them to be. Hihats are darker than the other cymbals but they're just as loud.
Haven't tried 'em in a band situation yet but I'm convinced that they'll cut through nicely.
Very satisfied!
Pics will come later.

Wow, nice! Congrats man, those cymbals are gorgeous.
Nothing like a brand new set of sounds to get the creative juices flowing ...
Got me one of the two 19" crashes I ordered today. They only had one in stock, the other one's on backorder and won't be availiable for a couple of months.
Took a lousy pic of the current setup. It will be somewhat altered though.
The 18" Zultan crash on the far right will be replaced with the last of the 19" crashes and I'm waiting for an 18" Zultan china that I'm getting from Thomann. They replace my broken 18" Zultan Q crash (it got a diagonal crack on the bow, not on the edge or bell) with the china. Initially, they said that they were replacing the broken one out of goodwill and that they were to send me a similar one. However, since they didn't have one of those in stock and the fact that it has taken all summer, they agreed to give me the china instead.
Now, those 18" cymbals, both the crash and the china are made by Turkish.
They're just rebranded for Thomann.
The crash is an Zultan F5, similar to Turkish Rock Beat Raw and the china is a Zultan Rock Beat. Same series as the Turkish version.
To the far left there's a 14" Wuhan china hiding.
They sound AWESOME!
Happy guy here! IMG_1115.jpg
