I still use my Sonor Throne from 1987
Great choice. I love Sonor products.
The time has come. Not another roll, crash, beat or groove can be achieved from my 1985 Tama throne. It's been a good throne, many many memories. Was even attempted to be taken by an a$$hat i let use for his set.... nice thief i mean guy....
Anyway after hours of searching and comparing i narrowed it down to 3.
Ddrum's red and black Mercury
Sonor's 2000 series
Gibraltar's 9608
and the wiener was (hear the drum roll?)
Sonor 2000.
it gets great reviews and has what i want and looks the way I want my new throne to look. I can't think of anything I have ever owned from Sonor so looking forward to it.
99.00 free shipping to my door.
will put up pics later. my phone posts them sidewayzzz

I have three Sonor 200 Series short boom cymbal stands I bought back in 1998 and all three look fantastic! No pitting or flaking. Sonor makes great products but the wife says "NO" to add another kit

hey guys, having a hard time getting pics to post right but you're right. Sonor stuff is top notch. The base of this throne is beefy and the seat is very comfortable. Pleased with the buy. Will definitely be checking out more of their stuff. Used it at practice no issues. Tomorrow were playing the Dixie Tavern.. fast shipping got it here just in time.
