Out of the handful of concerts where I've seen them, my favorite by far was at an amphitheater near Albuquerque, NM.........they played all of 6DOIT as the opening act for YES.
A cool sunset in the desert.............my wife and I had front row seats................a good evening.

They came to Portland last year with the Astonishing tour. I did not go because I just don't like that album. I'd love to see this tour but they are not coming here this time. I'll buy the DVD when it comes out.

Terrific band.....Portnoy....Mangini....who cares both unbelievably great Drummers....i watched the auditions for the replacement of Portnoy although it seemed Mangini would get the job....my personal choices on the auditions were Pieter Wildoer and Marco Minneman incredible and made it look effortless

I like your choices and would add Thomas Lang.

Marco Minneman and Aquiles Priester were probably my favourites on the list. Although Priester’s audition wasn’t the greatest.

I think Aquiles Priester is a superb Drummer but like you say on his audition he never nailed it like some of the others.
