    Who was the guest drummer that played with Boston at their last concert with Brad Delphs as lead singer.

    (Hint, think professional athlete.)

    OH, thanks for the hint. It was Doug Flutey.

    Roger Taylor was the drummer for the band Queen, but there was also another famous band with a drummer named Rodger Taylor. Can you name the band?

    BTD, my understanding is that Hal Blaine, although not the only studio drummer, was the primary one because Dennis' brothers didn't think he was that good, just as they didn't think he was much of singer . . . at first.

    Man, I can't get enough of the Beach Boys!

    What is John Bonham's full name?

    Must have been later than you thought, my friend...

    Mickey Hart was the drummer (actually one of two drummers) for the Grateful Dead...

    Speaking of drummers for the Beach Boys (were we, PB? ): What co-star of a long-running 1980s TV comedy series played congas with them on a 1990s band tour?

    I'll answer these in reverse order: Among the big-names who auditioned for the Monkees: Neil Young, Paul Williams, and Stephen Stills (who suggested the name of his former roommate, who finally appeared as one of the original Monkees).

    TRIVIA QUESTION: NAME THAT ROOMMATE!

    And DD, we again have a second question!

    John Stamos DID NOT have a hand in writing "Kokomo". However, three other guys did:

    1) The son of a popular '60s movie actress;

    2) A former member of the Mamas and the Papas;

    and 3) A one-hit wonder whose 1967 single gave wannabe hippies advice about what to wear to a major Western city!

    TRIVIA QUESTION #2: NAME ANY ONE OF THESE THREE!

    Roomate? Monkees?

    Well, I know that Stephen Stills was Peter Tork's roomate and auditioned first. I think Peter got it...lol.

    Question:

    Who is John Halsey? (In reference to drumming)

    Wow, I never knew Jay Lane played with Primus!
    Question: what jazz trio did Jay Lane play with and how did its lineup differ from a typical jazz trio?

    this is a little bit of percussive trivia. The sound affect in Judas Priest's song ''Metal Gods'' that starts around 3:10 is actually a tray of silverware being rattled. Good sounding affect.
