I think that throne would have some really nice padding, but I might have a little trouble reaching the pedals!

    HAHA- that throne is Huuuuge!

And they have the duallist pedals set up on the roland v-drums every year at music live and they are really nice to play. Although they look plastic-y and not very robust, they suprisingly are. I think theyre made of kevlar. Or ...something.

Nope, to quote their website- "The Duallist is constructed from super tough Dupont Zytel ® engineering polymer which is widely used in heavy duty industrial and military applications"

So yeah, they're made of Dupont Zytel (® )

Do those pedals tighten the tension?

triple pedals are harder than they look- you have to make your heel go down for a stroke, and your toe also does a stroke.. its a crazy double-triple thing. if you have 2 basses and use the single-double version of these pedals, and had the right technique, you could do quadruple bass! i wonder if that stool can make it easier to play a 26 inch bass? my pacific one makes it seem like my rack toms are towering over me

i know this is an old thread but i have the duelist single pedal with two beaters and i think it sucks. You need to be a good drummer to use it. not good for beginners like me
