I once used it years ago to babysit my neice. She was a couple of monthes old and I duct taped her to the floor, so she couldn't go anywhere... true story...

you can duct tape like 5 pennies to the bottom of your cymbals to get a cool sizzle sound i havent tried it yet though maybe i should

dood...my friend wrote a song about duct tape
and we played it at 1 show....ever since then i've seen ppl i don't even know whistling or humming the tune....it was so catchy...good song...very silly, very fun...ahhh duct tape

Keep in mind that duct tape is EXTREMELY useful to silence critics (like guitar players who think they know everything about drumming!) ... as I have seen so often on T-shirts worn by Bart Simpson types in Walmart:

that is funny.... here in Denmark we call duct tape "gaffa tape"
there was a time when i broke my drums and then it came out of the sky and sat on the broken part and then it worked again......
i also use it on my shades because they are broken....
Duct Tape... we salute you for your awesomeness, you are legendery, you are the best at what you do, nothing is able to stand up to you sticky side....
p.s.
the only problem is hair pins.... they almost works just as well, but not on anything offcouse
