I'll give you Doily!!! I do not knit or crochet, but I have been known to make bracelets!!! Doily, never! I also tye dye! My Grandma never made doilies either. Isn't the Doily a French thing?

I would tend to agree with this the most, however since he's a NY transplant, I have no clue. His soul lives in the 60s. That's the best answer I can provide.
