    Has anyone seen the demo video on Mapex's website for the Meridians where Glen Sobel plays them? They sound soooooo good in that video and I was wondering if they actually sound like that or if they messed around with mics and effects and stuff to get them to sound better than they actually do. Anyone know anything about this?

    I'm sure there's TONS of processing on them. He's also using pinstripes so you're not really hearing much of the true characteristics.

    My local shop can't keep the Meridians in stock long enough for me to go check them out and see how they sound (and most are pre-ordered so they can't open the boxes for me), so I can't comment on that. I'm sure there's a good amount of processing though, as any company would do.
