They make incredible snares that's for sure. I love my Acrolite and have never heard anything bad about Black Beauties. And of course, if they are good enough for Bonham...

The snare is sort of "meh" compared to my other snares, but I'm sure with proper tuning and perhaps specific uses it'd be perfect.

I needed (well, wanted) a smaller kit for the blues/pop trio I've been playing in, and this was the freaking ticket. I highly recommend this series to anybody who doesn't want to spend a ton but wants some great modern and classic drum sounds all in one kit!

Gorgeous kit............. for that price, you can't lose!

I was looking at these for quite some time. I like these or the C&C custome acrylics. Still a toss up with acrylics or classic maples. Haven't made up my mind. I haven't been drumming that long so I have some time to think about it.

Same here, simple, sturdy, well-made and adjustable!!!!!!!!!! Any one ever heard of the SonicKIng snare?? Was limited production, very much like the Supra, but only as a "custom".

Funny how we go in different directions. I just sold my Roland td 20 with a td 30 module and I am converting my original 1966-1967 Ludwig champagne kit with Triggers and no holes drilled to an electronic kit and the new 2 Box module and mesh heads

I converted my 45 year old ludwigs without doing any drilling or anything to harm them in any way. I.bought a 2 box module which has. Being huge in Europe and now back in USA . I had other e drums only because I live in a condo but I hated the small pads. Now I have the ludwigs that I grew up with and my neighbors will be happy too! Stoked!

Another of my Ludwigs. Bought these from **** Dale's bass player. Kinda kept them in the family, I used them in my surf band gig, "The Dentures". We opened for DD last year. Was fun to hang and talk shop afterwards. He was impressed with the resto I'd done to the set. They were so bad, on the way home, my wife'd look in back and go "I don't know about this one, honey". They came to life with a little massageing. This is a three drummer attack on "Wipeout!"
